Age Criteria (Age relaxation will applicable as per government rules) For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) the upper age limit is 30 years as on June 1, 2020. There is no age limit described for the Assistant Professor.
General: Rs.1000/-
SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender : Rs.250/-
Age Relaxation: 5 years of relaxation is given in the upper age limit for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD category. Relaxation will also be provided to the research experience of students.
Qualifying Exam: Students must have a Master’s degree or equivalent from any recognized university.
All Subjects: The qualifying exam has to be passed in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications and Electronic Science.
Unreserved students must have scored 55% marks in the qualifying exam while 50% marks are required for reserved category students.
Students who are appearing in the final semester of the master’s degree can also apply.
