Sikkim Human Resource Development Department has released the Sikkim TET Application Form Notification on its official website. Sikkim TET Eligibility Criteria-

Educational Qualification:

For Class I to V: Candidates must pass 12th Class with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board or institution and have 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education Course.

For Class VI to VIII: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or institutions and 4 years B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed Course.

Age Limitation:

The minimum age limit for the candidates is 18 years and the maximum age limit for the candidates is 35 years.

Application Fees:

For One Paper: For General and OBC category candidates they must have to pay application fees of Rs 500/- and SC/ST category candidates they must have to pay application fees of Rs 250/-.

For Both Paper: For General and OBC category candidates they must have to pay application fees of Rs 800/- and the SC/ST category candidates they must have to pay application fees of Rs 400/-.

Paper I- For Primary Teacher, for classes I to V) Structure =

1. Child development and pedagogy 30MCQs 30 Marks

2. The language I 30MCQs 30 Marks

3. Language II 30MCQs 30Marks

4. Mathematics 30MCQs 30Marks

5. Environmental Studies 30MCQs 30Marks

Paper-II (for Graduate teacher for classes VI to VIII)-

1, Child development and pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks

4. Mathematics and Science 60 MCQs 60 Marks
