Required Educational Qualifications & Age Limits for ASSISTANT COMMANDANT IN GENERAL DUTY & GENERAL DUTY (PILOT) Posts-

The Candidates, who have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with minimum 60%marks in aggregate (i.e. 1st Semester to 8th Semester for BE/B.Tech Course or 1st year to last year for Bachelor Degree Candidates wherever applicable), may apply ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment.

The applicants should have subjects of Mathematics and Physics up to 10+2/XII of the 10+2+3 scheme.

They should have 60% aggregate in mathematics and physics.

The applicants should have a current and valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued/ validated by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

They should have passed 12th with Physics and math plus 60% marks in aggregate.

Required Age for above post-

The candidates should be born between 01 Jul 1996 to 30 Jun 2000 (Both dates will be counted).

Kindly Note-

The candidates belonging to OBC/SC & ST will be able to upper age relaxation as per central government norms.

Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates, NCC ’C’ (A grade) holders, Sportsperson of the National level (Inter-State & above), and wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service.

No relaxation is applicable for 12th class marks.

ICG Physical & Medical Standards-

Height- 157 cms minimum.

Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be as per the Central Govt. norms.

Asst Commandant (Pilot) and CPL holders-

Height Minimum 162.5 cms

leg length minimum of 99 cms

Proportionate to the Height and Age and it is + 10 % acceptable.

Chest-

Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.

EyeSight-

Asst Commandant (GD) - 6/6 6/9 - Uncorrected without Glass. 6/6 and 6/6 - Corrected with Glass.

Asst Commandant GD (Pilot)/ 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other CPL holders (SSA) & correctable to 6/6.
